Issue

  • Windows system using SMB 3.1.1 and SMB Multichannel is disconnecting.
  • Windows event viewer reports:
    {Delayed Write Failed} Windows was unable to save all the data for the file xxxxxxxxxxxx; the data has been lost. This error may be caused by network connectivity issues. Please try to save this file elsewhere.
  • Packet trace shows:
    • STATUS_LOCK_NOT_GRANTED
    • Lease Break Notification
    • STATUS_FILE_CLOSED
  • SKTrace reports:
    • rt=1171  RESULT_ERROR_CIFS_SMB_CREDITS_MAX_MID_RANGE_HIT
