Could we block externals servers accessing volumes via NFS?

Answer

It is possible following one of the 2 following solutions:
  • Using a "no access" export policy, clients may need to unmount and remount the volumes to fully enforce the new restrictions.
    This is because existing NFS sessions may not immediately recognize the policy change due to caching on the client side
  • Taking the volumes offline, no unmount/remount is necessary, as the volumes will be inaccessible immediately
