Clients intermittently disconnecting from NAS shares/exports

Issue
- While clients are performing CIFS/NFS operations, they report intermittent disconnects
- No errors are present from ONTAP
- The clients do not reside locally on the LIF's subnet
- A packet trace shows that ONTAP stops responding to the client requests after the gateway fails to respond to ONTAP's ARP request
- Access is restored without further intervention after the gateway eventually responds to the ARP requests (historically this has been observed as a ~30 second outage)
