Issue

  • CIFS calls creating or making modifications fail on volumes in a Flexcache relationship
  • Reads to the Flexcache suceed
  • Client may show
    • Error 0x8007054F An internal error occurred
  • System Manager may show messages regarding Flexcache disconnect
  • EMS logs on the Flexcache may thow SPINNP_ERR_ENOMEM for creates or calls making modifications
    • Nblade_CifsOperationTimedOut_1:error]: params: {'remoteBladeID': 'remoteBladID', 'cmdRestartCnt': '0', 'vserverId': '#', 'commandName': 'SMB2_COM_CREATE', 'isQosEnabled': 'QoS_disabled', 'lastSpinNpError': 'SPINNP_ERR_NOMEM', 'localIpAddress': '10.1.1.2', 'lastCsmError': 'CSM_OK', 'clientIpAddress': '10.1.1.3', 'vserverName': 'vserver', 'suspensionCnt': '1234', 'dsId': '####'}
  • Packet traces may show STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR for SMB creates or calls making modifications
  • EMS logs may show Flexcache disconnects, however they may only show up before the event
    • UtilFsmThread: flexcache.cacheDisconnected:EMERGENCY]: FlexCache origin volume with Name origin volume MSID 1234567890 on Vserver Name vserver UUID UUID_STRING is disconnected from FlexCache volume with Vserver UUID UUID_STRING and MSID 4567890123.
