Cannot log into ONTAP CLI or System Manager with an Active Directory domain account

Issue

  • By default, only locally defined user accounts (e.g. 'admin')  can log into the ONTAP CLI.
    • By default, domain user accounts (e.g. DOMAIN\user) cannot log into the ONTAP CLI

error message "secd.ldap.noServers: None of the LDAP servers configured for Vserver (xxxxx) are currently accessible via the network for LDAP service type (Service: LDAP (NIS & Name Mapping), Operation: Check LDAP Config)."
