  • Cannot add an NFS datastore on an ESX/ESXi host

Error:
Mount failed: Unable to complete Sysinfo operation
Please see the VMKernel log file for more details:
The NFS server does not support MOUNT version 3 over TCP: VSI node (5001:)

  • Service Policy of the affected NFS LIF in ONTAP used to access datastore does not list service data-core

::> network interface service-policy show -vserver SVMNAME -policy POLICYNAME
