  • C.POSIX

Issue

  • Cannot restore data, as Networker throws an error with permission denied when the path has special characters.
xxx:nsrndmp_recover:ssid'xxx': NDMP Service Error: RESTORE: Error: /vol/vol1/xx/xx/xx/xx/xxô/xx▒- cannot create directory: Permission denied

  • *.UTF8 and UTF8mb4 support special chars, but trying to change the volume language gives the error:
::> volume modify -vserver svm1 -volume vol1 -language fr.UTF-8 ::
Error: Modification not permitted. Changing the language of a volume is only supported if the current language is "*.UTF-8" and the new language is "utf8mb4".
