Can't access files on NTFS volume from linux client with read-only  user

Issue

  • Permission Denied error, when attempting to access a NTFS based Security Style volume from an NFS/Linux client where the user only has read-only permissions.
  • Security Trace has the following information:
::> vserver security trace trace-result show -node cluster1-01 -vserver svm1
