Issue

  • CIFS share with subfolder from Linux Server loses connection
  • When remounting subfolder and trying to list, "Stale file handle" error is triggered:

root@example]# ls
ls: cannot open directory '.': Stale file handle
Share: \\server\share\filepath
Options:
vers=3.1.1,ro

  • Involved client uses Cryptostrike
  • No error triggered from Netapp storage side
