CIFS session setup latency with secd_rpc_auth_extended sat in queue in secd log

  • Users complain that it is taking 5-30 seconds or more for CIFS session setup to complete
  • Messages similar to the following showing up in secd logs during session setup latency times
CRIT :  _maxConnectionSem held for 6 seconds for cache ref ID 123456789, conn type LDAP (Active Directory)
secd_rpc_auth_extended(caller: NBLADE_CIFS) with request ID:12345 which sat in the queue for 7 seconds.
