  • Destination SVM is online
  • Both source and destination LIF address are resolved to the same CIFS server name

Issue

  • CIFS connections occasionally fail after performing SVM DR with identity preserve enabled.
  • Immediately after SMB2 Negotiate and session setup succeed, the session is disconnected by an RST from the client side.
