BGP Routing updates can't get  prefixes

Issue

  • ONTAP advertises VIP LIFs host route to the peer FRR router before and after the peer router network failover
  • Packet traces shows BGP session is established and regularly updated
  • BGP router can't see prefixes after connection is established.
  • In FRRouting bgp vrf summary value RcdPfx shows 0:
