Issue

  • CIFS share anonymous access with no credentials for Azure hosted SVM fails even after enabling guest UNIX user
  • Credentials are still asked even if anonymous login is setup  in SMB2 and SMB3 on Windows environment and by GPO or local windows gpedit
  • Access with credentials fails with error "You can't access this shared folder because your organization's security policies block unauthenticated guest access"
