Issue

  • When attempting to read a file via NFS on a Unix security style volume, access is denied
  • When attempting to take ownership of the file via NFS, access is denied
  • When attempting to change the permissions of the file, access is denied
  • Checking the mode bits on the file reveals that the current user is not the owner of the file and does not otherwise have read access designated for the file
