Access denied on mount when using export policies with netgroups because DNS lacks PTR record

Issue

  • When attempting to mount a volume using an export policy with netgroups, the client is denied access to the mount when access should be granted, even if the client is a member of a netgroup.
  • In EMS, the following error can be found:
