Issue

  • Error events in the ONTAP event logs:
ERROR gpo.job.mainUpdateFailed: GPO MainUpdate job(<GUID>) run failed for Vserver <SVM_NAME>, reason: Fetch failed: RPC to SecD failed: SecD Error: LDAP attribute missing..
  • The error references the old SVM name (e.g., NAS_vserver_DEST) after SVM-DR migration and renaming
    • Example log output:
eventlog show -event *mainUpdateFailed*
