Issue

Upgrade is not able to move forward.

  • System manager stays in a loop with warnings.

 

CLI reports the  error: 

::>cluster image update -version 9.12.1P5
Error: An error occurred during validation.

MGWD reports:

[kern_mgwd:info:2888] 0x83b696f00: 8803e8000000043e: ERR: smf::DsmdbAsync: Async modify call on "software_patch_rest" to owner for "" failed with: Failed to validate package because it does not exist on the system.
