  • ONTAP 9
  • Any SAN (iSCSI or FCP) network
  • All client operating systems

Issue

  • IOPs are not hitting expected maximums despite no host, network, or storage bottlenecks seen
  • Latency from host and ONTAP is less than 1 millisecond
  • The application level is showing high i/o wait time on storage
  • There is only one LUN from the client being read or written to
