Issue

  • Customer seeing high latency on volume while running commands from an client server
  • No performance/latency issue found on NetApp Storage side
  • Recommended involvement of customer's network team to investigate
  • Customer networking team found the VM was not responding to the the MAC address for storage
  • Using the traceroute command they determined the data switch with issue
