High latency due to IOM6 bottleneck

Issue

  • Highly utilized aggregate resulting in high read and write latency 
  • Retrived shelf number of highly utilized aggregate from sysconfig -r in autosupports
  • Found IOM type installed from sysconfig -a  in autosupports using the above shelf number
  • From perfecto, verified that the transfer rate was saturating IOM6 
  • Transfer rate on port 3b was approx. 750MB/s, IOM6 recommended max transfer rate is approx. 700MB/s
