High CPU utilization on a node due to tiering scanners

Issue

  • Sudden increase in CPU utilization to 80+% after a Robocopy
  • Tiering scanner running on loop with last status as aborted-nospace
  • EMS Log has the following alert message
[XXXXXXXX-XX: mgwd: license.term.enforcement:alert]: Data tiering has been stopped because of one of these issues: Your Tiering license has expired. You are managing more tiered data than allowed by your license. Connectivity has been lost between the cluster and BlueXP Connector.Verify cluster connectivity in the BlueXP Canvas or Tiering Clusters dashboard. For licensing, in BlueXP, go to All Governance > Digital Wallet > Data Services Licenses to view the status and update your Tiering license.
