Issue

  • High Latency from QoS reported on workloads with no QoS or no Adaptive QoS policy applied.
  • TCP zero windows are being reported from ONTAP
  • Disconnects may be seen or errors about maintaining connectivity due to the high latency passing timeout thresholds
    • Example: ESXi error seen due to Adaptive QoS and minimum latency:
      • Lost access to volume xyz due to connectivity issues. Recovery attempt is in progress and outcome will be reported shortly.
  • High latency is visible in the QoS Min delay center, with low workloads

Example:
Cluster::> qos statistics volume latency show
Workload ID Latency Network Cluster Data Disk QoS Max QoS Min NVRAM
