Answer

  • When data is moved out of a flexgroup constituent using rebalancing, the snapshot from the source constituent will retain the data from the moved file(s).
  • If large files, or many small files were moved out of a specific constituent, its snapshots might grow.
  • Quickly growing snapshots can trigger snapshot autodelete
