  • Performing an encryption conversion poses no risk as it is a background process that prioritizes data service
  • Performing an in-place encryption conversion on a sizable FlexGroup, such as one with a size of 3PB can take a long time to complete
  • It may be more appropriate to opt for a volume move conversion instead if space permits
