Issue

  • After increasing the size of the LUN in ONTAP, attempting to expand the datastore in vCenter fails stating "Failed to update partition table".

  • It is also seen that the increase in space on the LUN is not reflected in vCenter but it shows correctly on the individual ESXi hosts, even after a rescan.
