Unable to Delete Anti-Ransomware Snapshots Due to False Positive

Issue

Attempts to delete anti-ransomware (ARP) snapshots on a volume fail, resulting in space exhaustion and impacting backup and report generation. The system reports errors such as:

"This Snapshot copy is currently used as reference Snapshot copy by Jobs IDs: anti_ransomware. Deleting the Snapshot copy can fail the jobs."

and

Report cannot be saved to the volume because the path doesn't exist.
  • Volume nearly full due to ARP snapshots that cannot be deleted
  • Backups and report generation are blocked
  • ARP snapshot deletion blocked even when attack probability is “none” or “low”
