NLM lock denied because lmgr.pruning.delayed because aggr is full

Issue

  • NFSv3 client tries and fails to lock a file
    • While managing SmartSpice queue, Grid Engine logs
      • sspiceC.asdf123:Error: Could not lock output file: /path/to/file_name
    • flock fails with No locks available
      • (flock -x 200 || exit 1; echo "Lock acquired"; sleep 2) 200>file_name
        flock: 200: No locks available
  • Packet trace shows that ONTAP sends stat: NLM_DENIED_NOLOCKS (2) in response to NLM LOCK Call
  • EMS contains
    • [?]  Sat Jan 31 19:44:06 +0000 [node-01: lmgr_hr_pruner: lmgr.pruning.delayed:notice]: Pruning lock manager on volume vol_name for file file_name delayed due to error: No space left on device.
  • aggr show shows that Available value is 0B  and Used% value is 100%
  • vol show -fields space-guarantee,space-guarantee-enabled,aggr-list,aggregate,percent-used shows that volume(s) on the full aggr(s) are full and/or have space-guarantee set to volume
