Issue

  • Multiple LIFs for vserver on node.
  • DNS check fails.
  • CIFS access impacted on vserver.
 
Example:
Cluster::> dns check -vserver vserver_name -name-server DNS_server IP
 
           Vserver: versver_name
       Name Server: DNS_server IP
Name Server Status: down
    Status Details: Operation timed out
 
SECD.GZ shows:
 
secd: secd.conn.auth.failure:notice]: Vserver (vserver_name) could not make a connection over the network to server (ip DNS_server IP, port 389). Error: Operation timed out (Service: LDAP (Active Directory), Operation: SiteDiscovery).
