Description

  • This article describes the procedure on how to grant access to null (anonymous) user in Clustered Data ONTAP.
  • Customer is migrating from 7-Mode to Cluster Data ONTAP and has an application that is using the LocalSystem account (null / anonymous user) and needs to access a share on the new cluster.
  • Since ONTAP 9.0P1 we have the ability to configure access for null (anonymous) users using IP Qualifiers and map the null user to Windows User or Group.
