- Do not disable the failover policy unless there is a specific, intentional reason.
- Instead, keep the failover policy as
local-onlyand configure the failover group so that onlye0Mis specified as the failover target. - This ensures that management access remains available in the event of a failover and avoids the risk of failing over to an unreachable interface.
