FlexGroup quota status shows “mixed” after FlexVol to FlexGroup conversion

Issue

  • After converting a FlexVol to a FlexGroup volume, the quota status for the FlexGroup appears as “mixed”.

::> volume quota show -vserver svm1 -volume fg
              Vserver Name: svm1
    Volume Name: fg
               Quota State: mixed
               Scan Status: -
 Logging Messages: -
          Logging Interval: -
        Sub Quota Status: none
  Last Quota Error Message: -
 Collection of Quota Errors: -

  • And the individual members of the FlexGroup have inconsistent values:

::> quota status -vserver svm1 -volume fg__*
svm1:fg__0001 : quotas are on.
svm1:fg__0002 : quotas are off.
