Error converting Flex Volume to FlexGroup volume, upgrade in progress

Issue

  • When attempting to convert a FlexVol to a FlexGroup volume, ONTAP generates the following error message:
Cluster::> volume conversion start -vserver SVM1 -volume vol1 

Error: Volume conversion is not supported when an image update is in progress on any node in the cluster, or when an update has failed on any node. 
Complete all image updates and then retry the volume conversion.
