  • Yes, ONTAP upgrade can be performed if other key-manager servers are Master and are available, there will be no issues during ONTAP upgrade.
  • However, best practice is to have all the key-manager in available state.
  • Check the connectivity of all key-servers.
  • Confirm with Key-manager provider on master-clone configuration.
