Does FabricPool support InterCluster LIFs configured using NAT?

Answer

No.  ONTAP FabricPool doesn't support Network Address Translation (NAT).
  • InterCluster LIF IPs are used to attach a cloud/local tier.
  • Because NAT translates one network address to another, there is a mismatch between the discovered IP addresses and the addresses that are reachable and this will cause the configuration to fail.
