Applies to

Issue

  • When attempting to join a new node to an existing cluster, the operation fails with one of the following errors:

Error: command failed: The currently running image on this node lacks the following capabilities which are installed on other nodes in the cluster:

This node must be upgraded to 9.16.1P10 or a later release or the cluster must be downgraded to the release version of this node.

    • New nodes are running a lower patch version (e.g., 9.16.1P3) while the cluster is on a higher patch of the same major version (e.g., 9.16.1P10)
