Cannot traverse widelink because 'symlink-properties' is set to 'symlink'

Issue

  • CIFS client cannot traverse widelink
    • Client navigates to \\svm1\share1\redirect
    • redirect is a symlink file with a mapping to a location outside share1
    • The client is not redirected to the new location
  • On share1, symlink-properties is set to symlink
    • nas-cm916::> cifs share show -fields symlink-properties -share-name share1
      vserver share-name symlink-properties
      ------- ---------- ------------------
      svm1    share1     symlinks
