Issue

  • Windows File Explorer is unable to delete or rename folder whose name ends with an empty space
    • e.g. "foobar " ends with an empty space, while "foobar" does not
  • When trying to delete the folder, the folder does not disappear
    • the contents of the folder do disappear
    • Error: 0x80004005: Unspecified error
  • When trying to rename the folder, get popup error:
    • Could not find this item
      This is no longer located at <path>. Verify the item's location and try again
