  • ONTAP update from version 9.5 or prior to version 9.6 or later
  • Autosupport (ASUP)

Issue

  • Autosupports stopped working after ONTAP upgrade via SMTP.
  • Before ONTAP update, ASUP was sent successfully via intercluster LIF according to the network routing config.
  • After ONTAP update, ASUP sending fails via intercluster LIF along with SMTP operation timed out error.
