Autonomous Ransomware Protection stuck with disable-in-progress

Issue

  • Cannot disable ARP on volume vis ONTAP System Manager.
  • Volume has been stuck in the disable-in-progress state for an extended period of time:
::> security anti-ransomware volume show -state disable-in-progress

  • Attempting to enable ARP results in the following error:
::> volume modify -vserver svm1 -volume vol1 -anti-ransomware-state enabled
 
Error: command failed: Disabling of anti-ransomware for volume "vol1"
in Vserver "svm1" is in progress.  Wait a few minutes, and try the
operation again.
