Issue

On ONTAP systems in Google Cloud, a node that continues to run on battery power for more than three minutes does not generate an alert event. Normally, battery power is brief and the node completes its protective write-journal transfer within about 120 seconds. When the condition lasts longer, the node keeps running with degraded journaling and writes to the hyper disk until AC power is restored, but no alert tells administrators or support that this has happened.
