Issue

ONTAP’s random number generator may previously have used Intel RDRAND or /dev/random as fallback sources if Jitter Entropy was unavailable. With this change, Jitter Entropy is the sole entropy source. If it cannot provide the requested entropy, ONTAP reports an entropy failure instead of using a fallback source.
