CONTAP-643438: AutoSupport cleanup thread becomes unresponsive and REST API EMS forwarding fails after ONTAP upgrade

Issue

  • The AutoSupport (ASUP) orphan record cleanup thread becomes stuck, leading to root volume (vol0) space utilization growing over time (reported at ~80%) due to accumulated ASUP files that are never cleaned up.
  • A node reboot restarts the cleaner thread but does not resolve the underlying database corruption — the thread will become stuck again on the next iteration.
