CONTAP-41945: SnapMirror relationship shows "SnapMirrored" state after the first snapshot is replicated

Issue

  • After SnapMirror initialization, snapmirror show reports the Mirror State as “Snapmirrored” after only the first (latest) snapshot is replicated.
  • snapmirror_audit logs show initialization completion and may start an update even without an update schedule.
  • This can lead users to believe all source snapshots have been replicated, even when they have not.
