CONTAP-37155: Feature request: custom job schedules should be automatically replicated by SVMDR relationships

Issue

  • Under certain conditions, initializing a SVM DR relationship can encounter DR CONFIG REPLICATION FAILED error message.
  • This message may be found via event log show and snapmirror show from the CLI, or in EMS / SnapMirror Error logs.
  • Error in EMS:

    DRCGFM:HA Group Notification from DestinationCluster-01 (DR CONFIG REPLICATION FAILED) ERROR Configuration replication for policy "policy_name" in Vserver "vserver_name" has failed because the schedule mentioned in the policy is not available.

  • SnapMirror Logs:

    Failed to apply the source Vserver configuration. Reason: Unrecoverable error during configuration replication, requires manual intervention. Error: Schedule custom_schedule not found. Execute "snapmirror show -destination-vserver vserverdr -fields last-transfer-error,unhealthy-reason -expand" to check if the constituent volumes have encountered errors.
