Issue

  • Event Management System (EMS) contains entries showing multiple restarts of MGWD subsystem:
    Tue Jan 09 16:29:36 +0100 [Cluster1-01: mgwd: ucore.panicString:error]: 'mgwd: Received SIGTRAP (Signal 5) at RIP 0x81a7ef3fc (pid 63797, uid 0, timestamp 1704814176).'
    Tue Jan 09 16:29:38 +0100 [Cluster1-01: spmd: spm.mgwd.process.exit:EMERGENCY]: Management Gateway (mgwd) subsystem with ID 63797 exited as a result of signal signal 5. The subsystem will attempt to restart.
  • MGWD restarts and functionality is restored
  • Errors relating to backups may be observed in the moments before the restart
