CONTAP-112748: Application I/Os did not progress for over 2 minutes during failover on FSxN or AWS CVO systems

Issue

  • When ONTAP systems running Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP (FSxN) or Cloud Volumes ONTAP in AWS cloud (AWS CVO) TakeOver/GiveBack or Reboot
  • Linux systems may not be able to access ONTAP data services for over 2 minutes if both Linux and ONTAP are on the same subnet

Note: issue is only seen with single AZ deployment when the applications are running on Linux systems. There is no exposure to applications running on Windows systems or if it is multi-AZ deployment
