Issue

  • In very rare cases, one or more certificate files maintained by ONTAP may not be synced up to the file system which will prevent communication with key servers, including external key servers and embedded key servers.
  • This affects external key managers and cloud key managers.
  • Without proper communication with key servers, ONTAP will be unable to import keys from the key servers.
