Issue

  • Unexpected CLAM PANIC triggered by partner
  • Cluster ports down just before that. ONTAP events (EMS) example:
[[node_name: kernel: netif.linkInfo:info]: Ethernet adapter e3a: Link Resetting.]
[[node_name: kernel: netif.linkInfo:info]: Ethernet adapter e3b: Link Resetting.]
  • Dual 100G Ethernet Controller IONIC card (P/N X1151A) missing after the node reboot, in that slot 3.
  • The issue remains after a node power cycle.
  • The card is missing in maintenance mode [sysconfig -v] output.
  • A fixed attention orange LED would be noticed in the card.
