Issue

During a manual scanner run, initiating a takeover or giveback while the scanner is in its gathering phase can exhaust available system memory. The operation may then hang and the system may experience a panic with this message:
PANIC: giveback or arl hung in wafl while doing SENDHOME_DOING_COMMIT in SK process sendhome_hang_detector
