Issue

  • In the EMS logs: Nblade.CifsOperationTimedOut: Detected a timed out CIFS operation. SMB command for this operation: SMB2_COM_READ, Number of times this command was suspended: 6
  • The slowness happens during backup window for production workloads.
  • High latency is seen in qos statistics volume latency show in the Data column for the affected volume(s).
